Balance Equilibrium and Stability in human

Balance is the ability to control equilibrium. Equilibrium is the state of zero acceleration where there are no changes in speed or direction of the body. There are two types of equilibrium, static equilibrium and dynamic equilibrium. Static equilibrium is the ability of an individual to adjust, to displacements of his or her center of gravity while maintaining a constant base of support. On the other side, dynamic equilibrium happens when all applied and internal forces acting on a moving body are balance, resulting in movement with unchanged speed or direction. Stability is the resistance to a change in the body’s acceleration and disturbance of the body’s equilibrium. Therefore, to achieve balance, equilibrium and stability needs to be maximized.

Enhancing equilibrium, maximizing stability in achieving balance

1.     The larger the base area/ base support, the more balance the person are.
2.     The greater the amount of weight, more balance can be achieved.
3.     The lower the height of center of gravity, the stronger the balance.
4.     Balance is less if the center of gravity is near the edge of the base.
5.     In anticipation of an oncoming force, stability may be increased by enlarging the size of the base of support in the direction of anticipated force.
6.     Equilibrium may be enhanced by increasing the friction between body and the surfaces in contact with.
7.     Rotation about an axis also helps in balancing.

Muscle spasms and foot pain
Hopefully this guide will help you identify the cause of muscle cramps and sore feet. In addition, it revealed some useful tips that you can do good and at home before visiting the doctor for further treatment.

Muscle spasms
In general, when muscle spasms occur, you will experience muscle tension and pain, tingling nyucuk dramatically, especially in the legs. Muscles involved become hard to the touch. Pain due to continuous muscle spasms in the lower abdomen can also occur due to back pain or during menstruation.

The cause of muscle cramps

-Muscle fatigue
-Excessive exercise without adequate preparation
-Loss of body fluids is much
-The low level of glucose in the body or electrolyte imbalance
-Hormonal imbalances caused by diabetes or thyroid problems causing poor oxygen supply blood to the muscles.

Contain
-Prevention of muscle cramps
-Drinking adequate amounts of water and other liquids
-Eating foods high in carbohydrates such as rice and bread. Maintain intake of minerals and electrolytes such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and zinc can prevent injuries and muscle spasms.

Do it gently stretch the muscles of the problem. Before doing stretching make adequate preparation of a warm up before stretching and cool down after stretching.
Doing stretching exercises on a regular basis with due diligence, especially before bed.

See a doctor if:-

-Muscle spasms more severe and persistent (more than an hour) and is repeated or there is no reason or do not disappear after stretching.
-Prolonged muscle twitch occurs is unknown reasons.
-Occurrence of spasms in the chest or the arm. This may indicate something more serious has happened in the heart or the abdomen. See a doctor immediately.

Footsore

Cause:
-Muscle spasms due to fatigue, stress or injury .
-Problem-venous blood vessel that carries blood from the legs back to the heart)
Artery disease-(blood vessels that carry blood to leg muscles)
-Damage to the nerves, usually occurs in people with diabetes, smokers and alcohol drinkers. Incidence of pain and weakness in one or both legs.
-If the pain followed by numbness and tingling feel as if hit by small pins, and it spread from the waist down to the legs or buttocks, it is most likely related to the problems behind you.

Note: There may be other reasons that cause sore feet. After all, the cause-the cause vary depending on the age and sex of the person and also certain features symptoms such as places or areas involved, the quantity and duration, more worse factors, the factors that soothe and complaints or grievances specified by the patient.

Self Management

For leg pain that is not a valid reason less than a week, you need to rest well. Lift your legs when lying down and get some painkillers that can be purchased at any pharmacy. Then gently massage Poultice, or soak your feet in hot / warm or cold. It can help relieve the situation.

Leg pain caused by arterial problems more easily solved with the aid of gravity by allowing the foot depends on the bottom.

For leg pain caused by nerve problems, you need to control your diabetes. Stop drinking alcohol if you're a drinker. Stop smoking if you are a smoker. Do not wear too tight shoes.
See a doctor if it hurts your legs going and gets worse.

Typically, treatment depends on the cause. Medications given, including painkillers, medicines and other anti-inflammation. Meet and discuss with your doctor to get medicine for you.

Self-care

Doing enough strain on the muscles involved to help relieve stiffness in the legs. You need to wake up and stand. When the cramping had subsided sort your legs slowly.

If calves are involved, straighten knees and push the end of the leg slowly back towards the shin. Calf muscle massage gently.

If accepted in the hip-knee straight and lift the foot upward. If accepted at the front of the thigh, bend the knees and massage the affected place slowly with radius.

Poultice or demah with ice or heat on the affected area. Ice can help to relieve any inflammation and slow muscle. Heat is the best option if the spasms occur in a cold environment.
